Tips and Tuts for this week:

I honestly believe that this week’s challenge is the most important of the whole bunch. It’s the key to thinking outside of the box, of separating yourself from the pack, of taking photos that are truly unique. Want to take a self portrait? Why not levitate while doing it? Want to “freeze the action“? Why not make it a silhouette while you’re at it? Trying your hand at street photography? Focus on complementary colors while you do it!

You get the point yet? Combining two concepts while you shoot, will almost always make it a stronger photo. Focus on what’s behind the subject, go for black-and-white, see lines, negative space, MAKE A STATEMENT!! Be inspired by a famous photographer! Run to your dreams and fantasies! The list goes on and on!! 🙂

Shoutout to Zev Steinhardt for making this handy Theme Combination Generator! Great for some inspiration. Just refresh to shuffle again. Thanks, Zev!

Create something unique. Remind yourself you’re still alive. Inspire others to do the same.

Extra Credit: No B+W, Odds, or Lines

For some extra credit joojoo, avoid using the challenges of: Black-and-white, Rule of Odds, or Lines (well, I suppose you COULD still use those, so long as you are utilizing two challenges BESIDES those!)

Remember, it is not necessary to work in this Extra Credit piece. It’s extra credit!
