Week #4: Complementary Colors
To be shot and submitted between Sunday, Jan 18 and Sunday, Jan 25 (noon, Eastern)
Tips and Tuts for this week:
- A nice introduction to using complementary colors in your photography.
- A great video from Phlearn, where we learn to utilize complementary colors using some advanced techniques in Photoshop.
- Split toning is a great way to use complementary colors in your processing. For example, by processing your highlights with an orange tone, and your shadows with a cooler bluish tone, you can leverage the power of complementary colors. Learn about split toning in Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw.
