Week 45: Doors

Doors are often so intensely visual that they just call to be photographed. They have textures or are painted boldly, or they are decorated with patterns and designs and have interesting handles or formidable door locks.

But the most intriguing thing about doors is that every single one of them contains a promise. A promise that there is something right behind the door. It might be a surprise or something predictable. Maybe the outside of the door gave you a clue about what is inside or maybe it lied to you!

Your challenge this week, creative Framers, is to photograph doors. It is your choice to decide if you will stay safely on the outside or choose to open that door…
