Week 53: Endings

This is it creative Framers, the final album of 2017. And the theme this week, as chosen by popular vote is Endings. It is a very appropriate theme since it is our last album of the year and we had quite a long journey together, didn’t we?!!

It is a bit bittersweet and more than a touch sad to draw that final line in the sand and say “this is how it ends”. But just think about what an accomplishment it is to see a project right through to the very end. Instead of continuously looking forward, it is a good thing to pause for a bit, turn around and look back to see where we came from.

This album is our chance to celebrate closures. We all know that everything ends eventually, so why not create the most beautiful album of endings ever seen!

Tips and Tuts for this week:

  1. Here are some ideas for end of the road photography.
  2. New Year’s eve photography tips
  3. Tips for photographing at a funeral that you hopefully will never use.
  4. Photographing cemeteries and more hauntingly beautiful photos taken in graveyards
  5. Examples of urban decay photography and decay in nature
  6. 20 apocalyptic photoshop tutorials
  7. The first and final frames of movies

Have a look backward at the previous last week 52Frames albums: “Artist’s choice” of 2014 and 2016, “What I’have learned” of 2015 and “Themeless” of 2013. And for inspiration, of course, the Googles. Oh, you sweet Googles.

Extra Credit: Break the Rules
