We cannot find the date your photo was taken. You can only submit a photo that was taken during the week of the challenge.
It appears your photo was taken before this week’s challenge!
You can only submit a photo that was taken during the week of the challenge. This is the one rule that unites our entire community.
Welcome to the tribe!!
Any golfers in the house ??♀️? It's the last challenge of 2022 and time for a Mulligan - Redo a challenge of your choice from this year. Here's your chance to get a second crack at a challenge's image that you think you could improve on - maybe the weather's changed, or perhaps Santa brought you some nice shiny gear to play around with and try out. If you've gotten some good constructive criticism, you could perhaps use those ideas to make changes for the better.
Take some time to go through your own profile and see which images you think you can have a different perspective with or showcase a different idea. Or maybe choose one that you had a lot of fun doing the first time! You've done the challenge once; doing it a second time ought to be a walk in the park. ?
It doesn't matter whether or not you had submitted an entry during a particular challenge week (say, if you joined our community mid-way through the year or missed a couple of weeks). Also this week's submission could be one with a different perspective of the same subject or idea for the corresponding week or something entirely new - completely your choice.
All you need to do is pick a previous 2022 challenge and follow that challenge's brief and criteria.
For reference, here's a list of all of 2022's 52Frames Challenges (courtesy: Alison Pinto) and their corresponding Extra Challenges along with links to the Album and that week's Challenge Briefing / Tips + Tuts Page.
And if you're like me and have "paralysis of analysis" here's a generator that will issue you a challenge one at a time!
Share with us what you've learnt and put it to good effect. This community inspires us all to learn, grow and embrace imperfection. Together.
TIPS:
- Browse: Go through your own photos as well as those of others to get inspired. Learning from the past is often a great way of preparing for the future.
- Explain: It would help the community if you wrote about the challenge you re-shot and perhaps your thinking behind your choices.
- Breathe: Be patient. This challenge is very, very do-able. All it needs is some thinking on your part and a tiny bit of inspiration from our albums of 2022.
TUTS:
Looking for more inspiration? Check out our previous albums Inspired by a Photographer (2022), and Combine 3 Challenges (2020). And as always, The Googles! Oh you sweet Googles.
Think the Main Challenge alone ain't worthy enough of your photog skillz? Sweet - try adding the EXTRA challenge along with the Main Challenge to showcase your abilities.
This week, we'd like to see you Redo a 2022 Challenge with the corresponding Extra Challenge included. Here's a list of all the Challenges and ECs from 2022.
Do remember, the EC is neither mandatory nor does it enhance your odds of being picked for any 52F honors. It's just an EXTRA challenge for you, if that's something you want to take on in addition to the Main Challenge. We intentionally design the Extra Challenge to be difficult for most, so only take this on if you are looking for an EXTRA challenge. Get it? It's extra. ?

Remember, you are only submitting ONE photo per week. It is not necessary (and sometimes not possible) to work in this Extra Challenge into your submission. It’s extra challenge!
