“ Kestral, watching, waiting ... to pounce ”

On holiday in Edinburgh, in the campervan. Whilst out on a walk I saw the kestral land on the branches, not too far from me, on the edge of the field. As nature photography is my thing I was pretty happy he appeared. And then I also realised I had this week's shot.
Only downside is I wish ...

Frustrating when we dont have our best kit with us, but this is still a great image. Beautiful composition. Definitely the right place at the right time.

Soooo beautiful even when is not very sharp as you say but I love it. Don't you hate it when we leave the lens we need for the shot. It's a beautiful creature… more
