“ Priestly blessing ”

In 1984 I found this engraved scarab (?) in a small shop in Mea Shearim, an ultra orthodox neighborhood of Jerusalem. It was on a pile of chains and such. The Hebrew means “May the Lord bless you and keep you”. Except for a brief loan to a dear friend facing surgery, it has been around my neck ...
