“ Only the Lonely ”

This is John. I met him while walking in a local park. He needed a place to charge his phone where it wouldn’t get stolen, as he is homeless. He plays eight instruments and writes songs. I don’t know if they are songs of hope, or songs of despair. I guess it depends on the day.

I'm sure homelessnes isn't always as idylic as this image suggests but days like this one have to be enjoyed whatever the circunstances. It's beautifully composed but the backstory brings the sadness of his situation into sharp focus.
