“ Underpainting ”

Late start. So far, just the underpainting of a new piece I'm working on. Just painted today (Sunday). This impressionist style painting will eventually be a hillside covered in wildflowers.

It looks like a great start, I love the vibrant tones you have used and find your inclusion of your work tools adds extra interest. My only thought would be to have used… more

My only thought would be to have used a shallow depth of field to soften our some of the background room. It is quite busy and draws the eye away from your painting... have fun
