New immediately that I wanted to photograph mushrooms. In a small wood nearby I finally found these very tiny ones. They where all over the place, such a nice find. Downside, came home with a lot of options, narrowed it down to 6 and then the struggle started.

    I love this, Lida. These mushrooms remind me of the terra cotta soldiers in Xi'an. (I didn't manage to get there when I was in China, but I've seen lots of photos.) They look like an army. I like the way you used selective focus and its height to make one clearly stand out from the crowd.

    I love this. It almost looks like an alien landscape. The focus looks just a tiny bit soft, but I love your framing and soft lighting and colors.

    Sometimes you ave to follow your gut! You gave us all a challenge with the images you shared! All as good as the other so it had to come dow to personal preference! I think the background works well - you can tell they are more mushrooms but the dof totally blurs them out!
