This is a nice composition. The implied lines by the child's eyes lead the viewer right up to the cat and then back at the viewer through it's eyes. Neat.

I really like all the repeating v shapes in this composition... the cat's ears, the girl's hands, the pattern of the fabric behind her as well as in the folds of the fabric on and in front of her. And it is a very cute pose. I also really like the warmth if the orange and black together.
