    This does give a strong feeling of being shut in. I think that slightly more visibility through the blinds would have added to the shut in feeling. Especially if there was something enticing out there. Great colour palette.

    Neat idea and the colour palette in particular works well Nichola.  I wonder if something more identifiable behind the blinds might work better (perhaps with blinds slightly more open) I wondered if a No Exit sign composited behind the blind would be good fir example? You of course may prefer to keep the message/composition very simple and this 8s an interesting image/idea as is Nichola (but hopefully the job will look up soon :( )

    The sad blue colour of the blinds surrounded by a black frame are perfectly conveying the feeling of being trapped.

    It's quite difficult to identify the subject in the photo, but it was more about the feeling anyway.
