Very cool Nichola. This is not a critique but a question - I wonder how it would look if you aligned the sheet music with the angle of the piano keys? Maybe you already tried this. Anyway, I like that you can see the notes over both the black and the white keys.

As Timothy said a popular theme  but thats  because it fits the brief well and I think its nice done subtly as you have done. I applaud you trying this in  camera too. I think I would have had to  use PS only , perhaps aligning the notes a little more along the white keys and using blend if to remove from the shadows as the notes work less well on the black keys for me - IF you had the patience I guess the notes  would look glood wrapped round the keys? But that may all be way beyond what you envisaged for your narrative and I think the double exposure,  fundamental composition, shallowish DoF etc make this a very pleasing pic. :)
