“ Caterpillar Web ”

Out on a trip in the woods I came across a tent caterpillar web
The dew was still covering the finely woven web and a few caterpillars were munching at the leaves

I hadn't planned on a macro shot and only had my 24-70 lens with me but took the shot anyway. I was amazed to see ...

What a beautiful and delicate image. You may not have had the perfect lens but "taking the shot" yielded a great result.
