    Great photo! The d.o.f is very good and the focus on the needle spot on. It shows just enough texture of the "fabric".

    I agree with Elaine, I like the shine and smoothness of the needle as it sits against the fabric. The texture of the crochet is perfect to show DOF. I realize you were in a pinch, given more time I would like to see the crochet laying against a different background. My great grandmother crocheted, and this photo makes me think of her. I have a special appreciation for last minute and/or consistency shots. Well done!
