“ Soil ”

I was purposefully avoiding the usual cracks in the wall / peeling paint texture images. For this photo, I wanted to include other interesting elements, aside from texture, like roots, leaves and branches. It's interesting what you can find if you only look down or up.

I can almost feel the texture here! I think I may have been tempted to crop more closely, perhaps including just the area with the sticks which I’d have arranged… more
