    This is a nice attempt at abstract. I agree with the note below that the focus needs to also be sharp in the foreground. Focus stacking might be a technique that could help as the depth of field is so limited with macro shots.

    Way to fill the frame, Cammy!  You've got a nice depth of field, but I personally would prefer the shot if the focus were on the bits in the forefront, rather than the back.  For the parts that are in focus, you've caught the texture really well.
