“ Vise ”

A little vise my husband found at an antique store. I played around with different angles and liked this shape the best. Slate stone gave more depth for the background compared to a plain black or white paper. I like the patina of the cast iron, its nice for black and white photography compared ...

Lovely image. I like all the textures. My only suggestion is whether you tried a shallower DOF? It may have been interesting if the subject wasn’t fully in focus… more
