I tried to define a good focus, set everything on MF and shot via app ... however on the app it's hard to see, if the focus really is correctly set on the eyes ... took… more

I tried to define a good focus, set everything on MF and shot via app ... however on the app it's hard to see, if the focus really is correctly set on the eyes ... took a while :-)
I should also add that the background might not have worked the way I envisioned it ... but - as mentioned in the caption, couldn't be bothered to pull out even more equipment 😂🙈😇

I realized that setting up for photos, repeating over and over a scene and not getting the results I hoped for... over such efforts I could actually lose my passion for photography. After realizing that this week, I am admiring those of you, who do that, even more ... However - I can now appreciate even more this warm and happy feeling to come home with a bunch of photos of a great day that I spent ... when those photos remind me of such day with great details.

I couldn't quite understand your lighting and camera set up. You back lit the shiny background but then you've got another flash in front of you? Did you have a reference image in mind or experimenting with ideas? Seriously, well done for persevering but please never lose passion or get frustrated - there are loads of people who I'm sure are happy to help and I'm just one of them. Having said that, is the other image really you?
