Funny I was surfing Netflix or Amazon the other day and started watching 2001.  I had read how they filmed a few scenes and wanted to see them in action.

When I was scrolling through this morning, I said to myself, "Is this a 2001 thing?" Proud to see I was right! I got back into photography a few years ago after learning on film in the early 2000s; it was quite the shift from having to carefully consider each shot because of only having so much film (like, my brain was trained to only have 24 shots but my SD card could accommodate thousands). I don't think photography as an art will ever go away 100%, but hopefully it will find its place alongside changing technology. AI scares me though, from a writer and an artist perspective, in that it is only as good as what we can feed it; we need to be careful not to forget how to create on our own otherwise I fear an irrecoverable downward spiral will occur.
