“ Blood Orange ”
After being shut in for 3 days due to an ice storm a couple of friends and I got together to do a photo shoot of fruit. We had so much fun and got some great shots. This one met this weeks challenge of the Rule of Thirds and I love the colors.

    Excellent shot. I love the colors, textures and arrangement of the fruit and slices. Also like the hint of the blue checkered dish towel.

    Delightful. I really like the details in the close-up., as well as the two different ways of appreciating the segments of the fruit. The color is magnificent... and I like how the background color provides a subtleness next to the bright color of the rind. I also did citrus fruit this week and I like seeing different ways to photograph it.
