“ Red Tulips ”

Took advantage of some sunshine & visited the Skagit County Tulip Festival

Those tulips look almost unreal because they are so waxy. The colours stand out on this photo for me - not just the red of the tulips but also the blue of the sky. I like how the clouds are gathered on the horizon and are a greying - giving the photo a slight ominous feel, which is echoed by the angle. Did you think of cropping out the shadow on the left? That distracted me a little.
