I've half heartedly tried to photograph the moon a number of times. And failed. So, I tried again this week to try to capture details on the moon's surface. I was less concerned with composition or trying to make a larger landscape. In my mind, if I captured the details on the moon I succeeded...

    WOW! Nice shot! I really think I need a longer lens now (200mm is the longest I currently own) LOL. The details are very apparent in your shot and the black and white… more
