Taken as the sun was setting looking out over the Mersey Estuary. Not a lot of photo editing other than cleaning up the sensor dust!

Perhaps crop it so that the pier starts in the corner.

The textures in this shot really draw my eye. I agreee with Zoe about the tower being on the third. But I still love the image.

this is a really lovely sunset. I would have placed the tower on the first third line in the picture as you would still have plenty of negative space as it feels a little crowded over to the left of the image. You can use the rules of composition and still get negative space. I love the line of wooden planks leading up to the tower and the reflection you have captured.
