Holland Walk, on one of my regular beats, is an ancient footpath joining Kensington High Street (once the Hammersmith Road) and Holland Park Avenue (once the Uxbridge Road), the latter seen at the bottom here. I left home with this in mind, loitering a while for the scene to compose itself...
