“ Dragonfly in blue ”
Found on a cold December’s walk...when the real dragonflies are long gone. Even the red “closed for the season” sign paled in comparison to the vivid blue of the dragonfly.

Hey, Johnedfu, first of all, we appreciate the effort of your submission this week. We're trying to raise awareness in the community about submitting a photo of someone else's "copyright".

So even if this submission is "gray area" please don't be insulted by our note here, as we are just trying to inform as many people as possible that there is an issue with submitting "other" people's photos, signs, sculptures, paintings, graffiti, etc.. and the issue ranges from being illegal to post as your own work, to simply submitting a photo that is not your original idea or concept.

It is good practice to incorporate some form of "context" into your image, rather than just the copyrighted thing itself. For example, you may take a photo of a painting, graffiti, or even a computer screen, if you incorporate some context into the frame such as a person interacting with a sculpture, a person or thing next to a sign, or someone sitting in front of the computer.

For more information on this rule, including photo examples, please click here: https://go.52frames.com/copyright

We will not remove your photo at this time, this is just a friendly message. Happy shooting.
