“ Dead tree in the desert ”

I took 23 shots on a short hike Friday, this was frame #7, taken with a circular polarizer filter. Location: Thunderbird Conservation Area, Glendale, Arizona.

I'm loving the creative composition of this with that single cloud meeting the top of the stick! And, yes, the b&w brings out the color contrast better!

The alignment of the cloud with the top of the tree is fabulous though, I might just have got a little lower to make them 'connect' even more
