“ Senescence ”

Impermanence and decay this week. These were the last rays of sunlight hitting an Arizona Ash. These leaves will likely be gone by the new year (the breakdown of color and shedding of leaves is apparently called senescence in biology). Sunnyside Park, Glendale, Arizona.
