“ Morning Calm ”

It’s been a while but what a timing! I went on a backpacking hike to seek solace. I found more than what I wanted: laughter to ease the burden, assurance to strengthen my belief, stillness to remind me that it’s okay to stop. For even the waves do take a break to watch the rising sun.
