I purchased these wonderful-looking macaroons from a nearby, locally-owned bakery called 3 Little Chicks Coffee & Bakery... It is a charming establishment located in Hickory, North Carolina... specifically in the Mountain View area... I was looking for cupcakes when my daughter pointed out these ...

I love how much attention you paid to the lighting, including use of what was available - not studio lighting.

I would've liked to have seen this shot a bit more from the right. I don't know if that was prevented by the background.

How wonderful to include the family in creating this shot!
