    This is so pretty, Marla, in the best sense of the word! I love pansies anyhow, and this purple is so deep and intense. With what looks like a yellow stamen, you wouldn't have even needed another set of flowers. However, those yellow ones in the back - I think they are pansies, too - are perfect. I like the way the purple is so bold and highlighted in the composition, while the yellow seems steadfast and present (that's my meaning-making!) behind it. Really lovely to look at.

    I don't mind the green Marla, it adds context and balance. I don't even need flowers, just the sight of new buds gets me excited for spring...
