“ Basket ”

This is a sweetgrass basket I bought at the United Nations in NYC in 1976. It has been a prized possession of mine since. It was woven in a west African nation but I don't remember which. I have tried to find a picture of a similar one but never have seen one that style or that primitive. ...

Your basket is fantastic! I love the weaving and the details. Since you asked for a shred, how would this look with a blue background instead of the white wall? I think a blue cloth or color behind the basket would really pop the gold of the basket.
