Quick question: Did you do some postprocessing on the photo? I feel the colors are perhaps a bit too muted in the face. I would expect a bit more vibrancy.

The fact that it's a snapshot is perfect. There are few things I like more that capturing people being themselves.

Like the inclusion of the family feet and her foot connecting. Would be tempted to crop a little on the top and R side ( carpet) and bring up her eye color a bit to brighten. We are scanning old baby pics of the kids and it is kind of fun to have a variety of expressions, not just smiling pics. Babies are often surprisingly solemn :-) I like your "snapshot" approach.
