“ Rocks Growing Through Snow ”

In my front yard I found a goofy item to get close to. The rocks were randomly showing themselves through our last snowfall. This area receives no sunlight, yet warmth radiates even in the coldest times.

I like the contrast between the hard rocks and the snow.

I'm wondering where you were when you took this. It seems as though you were standing or sitting over the rocks-what if you were to approach from a different angle?
