This is totally an REI poster in their camping section. I wish you had gotten his shoe in anyway even though it wasn't The North Face. LOL

Well spotted! The brand is obvious.
However, the background is too busy and distracting. You could make the subject pop more by using a wide aperture which would have made the background blur, or by using a gaussian blur in processing.
I agree that it was a good opportunity. Well done!
