“ Fire and ice ”

Had to get creative this week using a Sieve paired with a toy light from my boys with fun angles and composition. I made a series of images with other colors and angles as well as black and white.

I've been struggling with my critiques this week. Particularly when an image is so abstract that I have nothing to use as a handle to grasp onto the photo. Here the bit… more

I've been struggling with my critiques this week. Particularly when an image is so abstract that I have nothing to use as a handle to grasp onto the photo. Here the bit of woven metal that's in sharp focus gives me that handle. So this photo works much better for me than many of the images I've looked at thus far. The colours are wonderfully dynamic and push this into the abstract very well. Nicely done.
