    Falando, my initial thought matched your questioning of whether this is truly dappled. But who says that the dappling has to be created by a tree or some other obstruction removed from the surface affected. Here the sand is creating its very own dappling and I think that's fantastic and its wonderful that you thought to go it this unusual direction rather than presenting yet another path through the woods image. Bravo.
