“ Add the lace ”

This time I decided to be more creative and take a photo of something other than landscapes which I do too often. I just love the detail in this lace, I bought the lace before I even knew what to do with it. It reminds me of the 70's.

Nice capture Ruth! I like the detail in the lace and the other fabric - and the fact that the sawing machine is out of focus. I think I would have been tempted to focus… more

Nice capture Ruth! I like the detail in the lace and the other fabric - and the fact that the sawing machine is out of focus. I think I would have been tempted to focus on the 'foot' of the sawing maching (where it touches the fabric) but this is better! I think it could have been a tad brigher to make the texture come out more.

Nice DOF. Love the golden glow in this shot. You might try cropping a bit in from the left to put more focus on the lace. Nice capture.
