“ Fallish Day ”

Things are slowly starting to thaw out here, but yet we are still getting snow. This is not my favorite picture, and I may have over edited, but I'm still learning, so any tips would be helpful!

The textures and details are great in your shot! The dof works great and offers good separation between the leaf and the hand.

My suggestion is to try a different background for the leaf than your hand. For example, maybe hold the stem between your fingers (out of frame) so that all the focus is… more

My suggestion is to try a different background for the leaf than your hand. For example, maybe hold the stem between your fingers (out of frame) so that all the focus is on the leaf detail with a completely out of focus background. So much fabulous detail in nature.
