“ Touch of warmth ”

She was standing guard, aware of everything going on around her. This tells me a story of a bleak winter day with the hope of spring around the corner.

She is definitely standing guard! I really like the strips of light in the foreground grass and the overall golden tint. I live in the woods, so I know how hard it is… more

She is definitely standing guard! I really like the strips of light in the foreground grass and the overall golden tint. I live in the woods, so I know how hard it is to get close to deer. My only suggestion for next time would be to try to go vertical to see if you could get the the light reflected in both the grass and in the trees, while zooming in closer on the deer. :-)
