“ Details- Cocoon ”
My children found several of these hanging on a tree while out on a Nature Walk. They were so interested in the texture and discussing what might be inside that they asked me to take a photo and it turned out to be the perfect one for this week's challenge.

Love the texture here. I love how it looks both soft and strong at the same time.

    Fascinating subject!
I like the way the shallow depth of field makes it stand out.

I spied this and had to take a closer look as I'm fascinated with bagworms which are weird moths. I'm curious about the type of tree it's on. They always use the material from trees they reside (or have been on) to build their "house". And, these things can become prolific becoming pests. If your kids are really interested, google Psychidae or bagworm moth. Their life cycle is fascinating to me.
