“ Winter in LA ”

It was a nice February day at the beaches in Los Angeles. Just a few surfers and a lonely lifeguard keeping watch over the beach.

Since this was shot around noon on a sunny day, with some pretty flat light I felt that making the photo black and white added to the mood of negative space.

black and white suits this picture

I found what I think were surfers a bit distracting, they looked so tiny and were taking my focus to try and work out what they were.

nice image I like the clouds.
