“ Spirit in the Sky ”
I combined 2 shots to get this photo. I shot the Spirit Air taking off and then immediately tilted down to shoot the one on the ground that had just landed. I stitched the photos together and moved the plane in the air down a little to help the composition. This was taken on a hill overlooking LAX.

Such a clever idea. A great focus on the topic, and I love the colour of the planes. Great work.

Nice idea and the 2 shots are merged well. I don’t know whether it would have been possible to have the top plane lower as I find my eyes having to jump between the top and bottom of the frame without quite managing to settle. Well done.

Jake, well done! The yellow planes pop against an otherwise dull scene! Clever you!
