“ The golden wings ”
I expect this week there will be a lot of sunset pictures. This picture was also taken during sunset. Except I turned my camera away from the sun and used the setting sun as my light source to shoot this beautiful bird coming in for a landing.

    Beautiful wing spread. I might have cropped the bottom portion, just above the rock in the bottom left corner. I think you could do that without sacrificing the reflection. This bird reminds me of the avocets that migrated through Colorado last spring and summer, and I'm so looking forward to seeing them again this year. I love this kind of golden hour shot, and you managed to grab a little bit of splash, too. Nice.
