“ Last minute ”
You have 5 minutes. It’s dark out. You have no tripod. You pull off the freeway and head to the beach. Grab your camera. Set the settings to iso 100, need long exposure. No tripod. Just monopod. It’s blurry, but I have no time. It’s 8:58. Submit as is. Kids don’t procrastinate!

    Understood that it is last-minute and no tripod. On many occasions I have rolled up a jumper and surprisingly that works just as well is a tripod and gives a lovely low… more

    Understood that it is last-minute and no tripod. On many occasions I have rolled up a jumper and surprisingly that works just as well is a tripod and gives a lovely low position. I agree however that making sure that the kids are not procrastinating is far more important! Long live the  photographer who works when the children are asleep.
