Struggling with creative focus these days, A bit too literal but found a large group of mostly white Seagulls and black American Coots hanging out together on the dock.

Focusing on the foreground gives a nice perspective to the photo. The eye is naturally drawn from the foreground to follow the lines in the dock to the bird in… more

Focusing on the foreground gives a nice perspective to the photo. The eye is naturally drawn from the foreground to follow the lines in the dock to the bird in flight. I think the boat and buoy at the top stop the sense of movement and that the photo might be stronger if the top of the pic was cropped to omit them. Nice image!
