“ Assumption ”

A church in a nearby town, an absolutely stunning piece of architecture; unfortunately as I left this weeks pic to the last minute there was an event going on in the church so I could only take a picture from the side, still stunning.

A very arresting image! I love the soft lines of the arches with the sharp edges of the window.

I feel like the composition is unbalanced. I know there were people there, but maybe if you had focussed on one section, it's mainly the large white square that puts me off.

The colours are gorgeous, the lighting fits it perfectly. A very soothing image.
