    Beautiful! I’ve been trying to capture one in flight as well, because their wings are so gorgeous, and it’s hard! Needless to say I haven’t succeeded… more

    This is such a great shot - not only for this challenge with the pop of red - but just a great shot. I love your composition and depth of field, and how you captured the bird in a posture suggesting he is thinking about something happening behind him. Really lovely!
