“ Batter Up! ”
Summertime and baseball go together like peanut butter and jelly. Fun to see the micro-texture of the leather, and the way it stretches at the stitches. I’ve never examined a baseball with such close scrutiny. I caught this one at a game, so it was fun to look so closely at all the scuffs and wear.

Wonderful detail and composition. I love the world that macro photography opens for us, seeing things we miss otherwise. Great shot, Deborah.

The framing on this picture is great! I like how it moves from hyper focused to blurry from top to bottom.

Really interesting subject for this challenge Deborah! It's a nice change from all the flowers (including my own... ?). I really like how you focussed on the holes where the stitching is done - it really gives a sense of the ball's life... Well done!

The focus on the stitching really shows all the highs and depths of the ball. Great textures in this image!
