“ Lemons ”

Rather than use a solid background in a colour complementary to my lemons I felt that a mottled one featuring the colour was more effective. The background is an Indian silk scarf.

I love the background and the lemons. The lemon color looks like maybe you pulled back on the saturation, but I think with that gorgeous bright background the lemons come off a bit dull. The bowl gives great interest and detail.
